Does your aggressive or controlling behaviors negatively affect your marriage, relationships, or work?  Does it lead to police involvement?

Our skill-based programs provide a supportive environment to focus on the consequences of anger and controlling behaviors, while providing participants the self-awareness and skills needed to avoid violence and build healthy relationships.

We offer both Anger Management and Domestic Violence Groups.

  • Anger Management is a 12-week skill based program that focuses on the consequences of anger while teaching techniques to avoid violence. Participants will learn effective communication; self-awareness and the tools needed to self-regulate their anger.  (This class is open to mandated and voluntary participants)
  • Healthy Relationships is a 52-week intensive group program for focusing on taking accountability for controlling, violent and abusive behaviors.  Participants will learn to replace power, control, and anger in their relationships with self-awareness, honesty respect, and empathy.

Lutheran Community Services is committed to ending family violence by working with individuals, families and by working collaboratively with other agencies through out the community.  We work with the Domestic Violence Task Force, Family Law Advisory Council, Yamhill Commission on Children and families, Yamhill County Community Corrections, Department of Human Services Child Welfare, Henderson House, Juliette’s House and other community resources.
