How you can become involved as an LCS volunteer

There are a wide variety of volunteer needs and opportunities at LCS offices throughout Washington, Oregon and Idaho. While volunteer needs vary from office to office, there are many different ways you can help LCS serve your community.

You can help support the work of LCS in your community by:

• Serving as a church/community liaison
• Assisting with fundraising activities
• Assisting with special events
• Being an advocate for LCS in your community
• Serving on a local LCS Advisory Committee or Area Council

You can help out at your local LCS office with:

• Clerical duties
• Gardening and building maintenance

You can help children and families in many areas as a:

• Youth mentor
• Homework helper
• Reading/Literacy tutor
• Foster Parent
