| Our Foster Care Programs
Lutheran Community Services Northwest provides a wide variety of foster care and other child welfare services, primarily in Washington State, tailored to address the unique needs of children in each of the communities we serve.
King/Snohomish Counties
The Permanency Planning Foster Care Program places children with foster families who agree to work closely with birth parents for reunification with their children, but will commit to adopting the child when reunification is not possible.
The Refugee and Immigrant Children’s Program provides foster homes for refugee and immigrant children.
Spokane Area
Therapeutic Foster Care Programs provide a range of foster care and intensive treatment services to children and youth, providing support and skill-building to help them be successful in their families and communities.
Tri-Cities Area
The Advocate Home Network provides therapeutic foster care and wrap-around support services for children and adolescents, aged 6 through 17, who are dealing with emotional and behavioral challenges.
All Other Areas in Washington State
Families For Kids provides information on foster parenting opportunities and support to current foster parents in regions across the state
