| Families for Kids is a network of current and former members of foster
and adoptive families. Our goal is to help find and support other families
who may be interested in helping abused and neglected children.
The program began in the first few months of 1998 with the creation
of a toll free telephone line and part-time coordinators in each
of the six DSHS regions in the state of Washington. Lutheran
Community Services Northwest is our primary sponsor. Funding
is generated through public and private contracts, grants and donations.
