The Mission IS Possible in South Puget Sound! We celebrated 90 years of service at our annual Spring Brunch on Sunday, March 13th at Tacoma's Landmark Theater. The event broke records in attendance and gifts with almost 400 guests! Thank you to all of our sponsors, table hosts, volunteers and guests.

This year’s theme was Mission POSSIBLE as in "With God, all things are possible. Matthew 19:26". A program highlighting 90 years of service, along with historical facts from the different eras were displayed as “portraits” by volunteers wearing period costumes in a life-size gilt picture frame. Thank you to the participants for a fun and informative program! Glorious music sung by our multi-talented Administrative Assistant, Nikiesha Thornton and her daughter, Jasmyn rounded out the afternoon.

The delicious buffet was complimented by champagne and sparkling cider, a truly festive occasion. Good food, good fellowship and good entertainment is an unbeatable combination!

This year's Reverend John Briehl Award was presented to the Reverend Richard Tietjen. “One of the finest teachers of the Christian faith alive today” is how he has been described by a parishioner. A man who exemplifies volunteerism and serves his community tirelessly. Congratulations and thank you Reverend Tietjen!
