What a great night!
Over 450 people attended the “best fundraising event” in Spokane – the Lutheran Community Services’ 28th Annual Chocolate & Champagne Gala, held on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Mirabeau Park Hotel.
Guest were greeted with champagne by Segura Viudas plus four signature martinis and the ballroom was filled with chocolates, confections, desserts and coffee selections donated in full from Spokandy, Halletts Chocolates, 4 Seasons, Bloems, Brain Freeze Creamery, Bruttles, Celebrations Bakery, Coeur d’Alene Chocolates, Love at First Bite, Marsell’s Cakes & Desserts, Marzipan Confections, Roast House Coffee, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Sweet Dreams Bakery, The Scoop and The Mirabeau Park Hotel provided fabulous appetizers. Guests enjoyed over 100 Silent Auction items, a lively Live Auction and the Pounder’s Jewelry raffle. Then the 8 Tracks kept the crowd moving with dancing until midnight.
The event was an incredible success, raising over $65,000 to benefit LCS’ Sexual Assault and Family Trauma (SAFeT) Center, providing advocacy, support and education for victims of violent crime and sexual assault.
