It's
a bold vision, but one we can’t let
go by. The Lutheran Church offered a gift of land
at a strategic location where so many people feel isolated
and
are going without some
basic human services.
Our vision at Lutheran Community Services
is to construct a new community services building, where
under one roof
people
will find health care, child care, refugee services
and community resources. And next door, affordable housing for seniors
built by the Lutheran Alliance To Create Housing.
This vision was embraced by community,
business and church leaders from throughout the Northwest. We
see a village where seniors, toddlers and people from around the
world find mutual
support and community. It's
the right time to do the right thing.
