Local Training
This section features opportunities for you to attend local trainings through agencies, the state, Families for Kids, where you can learn information relevant to foster care and adoption, and also meet your training requirements for ongoing licensure. You'll also find the current schedule for upcoming Orientations and PRIDE (pre-service) classes, required to obtain a foster care license.
Online Training
This section features on-line training opportunities through Pierce Community College and other venues, where you can also obtain training credits necessary for ongoing licensure.
